Today the huge Singapore Botanical Gardens are on our agenda — and while we are standing in the almost-jungle (the Evolution Gardens, to be exact) we find ourselves in surroundings so beautiful that we spontaneously decide to take another VLOG. We have to work off our bucket list after all, and there doesn't seem to be anyone around to see us.
Enjoy!

And because a blog post looks a bit meagre without any pictures, here are a few impressions from the gardens, where we also have dinner and explore the different lakes, paths and plants at night.
A large lake surrounded by trees and greenery
Just a lake.
Scattered throughout the many green spaces here you can see the locals walking through the gardens, picnicking or doing sports (at these tropical temperatures — not bad!) — and despite the dense population of Singapore there is pleasantly little going on here.
Silhouettes of large trees against a cloudy blue-grey sky
Another kind of skyline
After sunset the gardens look completely transformed — many spots are quite tastefully illuminated and the small paths through the dark thicket have their own, very unique atmosphere.
